Is there a secret to getting rid of stomach fat?……..No there isn’t!
You will often find commercials for things like ab machines and diet pills that promise a flat stomach fast but these are not effective and losing stomach fat and maintaining it for a long time.
The main reason the ab machines are a waste of money is because you cannot actually burn fat by doing crunches and sit ups, this only tones the muscles. In order to burn fat you need to do regular cardio sessions. Also, why would you want to pay for an ab machine when there are absolutely loads of different ab exercises that you can do with no equipment at all.
Diet pills can sometimes be dangerous and you should never substitute a pill for a healthy diet. The main problem when it comes to diet pills is the fact that everyone wants a short cut or a quick fix, but when it comes to getting rid of stomach fat there are no shortcuts!
There are just two things you need to be able to get rid of stomach fat……..
A Proven Exercise Routine
In order to maximize your fat burning potential you really need to be following an exercise routine that has been proven to work for people time and time again. It’s no good thinking you know whats best and just doing what you want because unless you really know what your doing it can be difficult to come up with a workout that is going to give you the best results in the quickest time. There is so much miss-information around these days that lots of people end up taking the wrong advice and it means that they have nothing to show for it.
A Healthy Diet
It’s no good just having a good exercise routine because you need to couple it with a healthy diet. Something that many people think will help them to lose fat quickly is to eat a lot less food but this can have the opposite effect. When you drastically reduce your calories your body will stop burning calories and hold on to as much fat as possible because t is being starved so wants to try and hold on to as much energy as it can.
In order to raise your metabolism the best thing to do is to eat several small meals throughout the day, somewhere between every 2-4 hours is perfect. What this will do is keep your metabolism ticking over and this will make your body burn calories much more efficiently.
So don’t fall for the miracle pills or crazy ab machines because what it really comes down to is a healthy diet, exercise and consistency. You need to be aware though that you have to get both of these elements right in order to see results.
