Fat Burning Foods To Get Rid Of Stomach Fat
There are certain foods that you really should make sure are in your every day diet if your goal is to get rid of stomach fat. Everybody knows about which foods to stay away from because they are going to make it almost impossible to get rid of excess fat but not many people seem to know much about the healthy fat burning foods.
Here are a few of the foods you should try and keep in your home if you want to lose belly fat:
- Broccoli
Broccoli is one of the super foods because it is packed full of nutrients and vitamins that your body needs. All of these vitamins, minerals and even the fiber in broccoli help to increase your metabolism and burn more fat.
- Green Tea
Green tea has been used for centuries due to it’s healing properties and now it has been found to help in burning fat by stimulating the brain and nervous system. It is also full of antioxidants so it can help to keep you healthy as well. As I usually have quite a busy schedule and often don’t have time to have a cup of tea throughout the day I actually just place a green tea bag or two into a bottle of cold water before I go to bed and then the next day I’m able to get all the benefits of the green tea just by drinking my water which I would be drinking anyway.
- Turkey
Turkey is a very lean meat and for this reason it is great for people wanting to lose weight. It is packed full of protein and I think it is delicious as well. Many people are put off by turkey because they think it is always dry and not very appetizing but once you work out how long you need to cook it for you can get it nice and juicy every time.
- Fish
Again, fish s another very lean protein source and is also packed with omega 3. There are so many different varieties to choose from when it comes to fish which is great. Something like salmon is fantastic because it has plenty of the healthy fats that your body needs to stay healthy, I always try to go for the wild salmon over farmed.
- Chilies
There is something in chilies called capsaicin that speeds up heart rate and increases the metabolism rate. I love my spicy food so add chilies at every opportunity. Some people on the other hand are not a big fans of spicy food but if you start to incorporate a little bit of spice into your diet then over time you will start to get used to the heat and eventually you may even learn to love chilies as much as I do!
